Gary Shuster
Gary is the innovator’s innovator. He has received over 250 U.S. patents since 2004, or about one patent per month. He’s an innovation speaker, writer, coach, attorney and consultant who has extensive personal and professional experience in the lifecycle of patents, from crafting, improving, and fighting for them to licensing them, maximizing their exit strategies, and protecting them.
Gary takes the same innovative approach to legal problems. One of Gary’s first patents was a technological method to cheaply and quickly solve a legal problem. Most lawyers simply plod through legal issues linearly, billing all the way. By innovating within the legal system, Gary often reaches better solutions faster and at a lower cost than a traditional approach. Of course, when a traditional approach is the best way forward, we adopt that.
As his co-founder, Cameron Powell, puts it, “Gary understands technology better than most all lawyers. He’s also a power user of technology, including cutting-edge AI he builds himself, so we can match the work quality and output of much bigger firms with a leaner team. With hundreds of patents in all sorts of fields, Gary gives his IP and litigation clients a high level of creativity and sheer inventiveness.”
